bdb: Great!!! Hopefully Alan will find time to come here and answer our questions!

JaneDoe: There are many fans of Paul Hunter аmong us, we know you were teaching him. What was he like at that time and in what age did he discover his snooker talent?

bdb: Alan, this season we have less ranking tournaments and less prise money than ever: what do you think about the nearest future of world snooker? can it survive without tobacco sponsorship? can it become more popular over the world?

cue-ball: For all forum members! Alan Trigg is first professional coach who comes on former Soviet Union area. But also he is top senior player in England. He still make centurys...Alan was Europian champion and one of the best on World Championship...I hope that U will see him HERE soon...

samsemilia: You are welcome, Alan I hope you will enjoy this forum But I have a question about Quinten Hann. Is it possible that he will come back on the snooker circuit? He´s a very talented player, in Pool and Snooker and it would be sad, when he couldn´t find the way back, after all what the press did to him. I like him as a player. I like his game. Thanks for answering. Regards, Sammy

alan trigg: Thankyou for your warm welcome, i find riga is a very beautiful city. Paul Hunter was first discovered by another professional snooker player called Jimmy Michie, he taught him from the age of seven until the age of ten, he approached me to finish Pauls coaching, his highest break before he came to me was 58, after two weeks coaching he made his first century, i knew then he was very special. i continued teaching him until he was 15 years old, a sponsorship deal was arranged for him and he went to practise every day with another top professional at the time called Joe Johnson, the rest is history

alan trigg: As for the game as a whole, i feel that it is turning a corner, i have been told that a big internet gaming company is going to put alot of money into snooker over the next few years. the game is in good hands

alan trigg: Quintin is a totally different matter, he is a very tallented player but nobody knows his future, only him.

bdb: alan trigg пишет: цитатаthe game is in good hands nice to know!!!!!

alan trigg: I have been asked to write a little about myself, here goes: I have been playing snooker for 40 years and teaching it for 31 years, my favorite player is ronnie o'sullivan at the moment, i say this because in the eighties i thought that nobody could surpass the tallent of Steve Davis then along came Steven hendry and of course now ronnie, who next could be my favorite, perhaps a young gifted player reading this message

bdb: alan trigg пишет: цитата my favorite player is ronnie o'sullivan at the momen it seems to me that he is playing slower than a just couple of years ago... besides, he takes less risk now... do you agree? if yes what can be the reason behind this? just getting older and wiser or ray reardon's influence? thank you

potblack: alan trigg What is your opinion about latvian snooker, school and more... Is this on the right line or we have an troubles with somethings....

cue-ball: If Man promiss something - he has to do this! Alan was here! Thanks him! Also I am grateful for Sergey Sergeev who invite Alan to Riga. It was first visit of Alan to our forum. Time was...short. But Alan said that he will comes here again in tuesday for one hour. Read more about this in Russian in Снукер в Прибалтике

cue-ball: Please write here NEW questions to Alan Trigg.

Maria O’Sullivan: As you estimate development Of snooker in Belarus

JB Riga: Alan, you are in Riga now with training rates. Interesting to know, what do you think about prospects of your today's pupils?

respotted black: Alan, do you know Chris Henry? Surely you do. He had coached peter Ebdon and leaded him to his WC titel and is a developer of the Acurate cues.. He is now in Germany, I met him today in our club in Cologne, very nice fella.I have heared that he will probably be Ronnie's coach ! Do you know more about this?

Lady Unfogettable: alan trigg Please, can you say some words about Paul Hunter. I mean what person is he. His character. Is he easy to communicate with?
