rusel: Финальный день турнира Snooker Shoot-Out будет транслироваться на канале Sky 3D. Таким образом, снукер станет всего 12-м спортом, который попадет в 3D формат. Барри Хирн: «Замечательная инновация от Sky, жду не дождусь, когда увижу снукер в 3D. В прошлом году мы впервые провели Shoot-Out и остались довольны результатами. Было много невероятных и драматических моментов, формат полностью оправдал себя». Как бы не сделал такой формат и на ЧМ.

У Хэмильтона полицейские отобрали машину, когда они с приятелем выехали в Блэкпул, т.к. не было страхового полиса и пришлось добираться на такси и поездом. Да еще 200 фунтов штрафа платить. It was in the balance when Lee led 44-36 with three reds left, but Lines missed a black off its spot and later the penultimate red when he had chances to snatch it. Lee took advantage to become the last winner of the night. 9.51pm: Last match of the night: Stephen Lee v Peter Lines. 9.47pm: MARK DAVIS BEATS MARK JOYCE 78-16 Davis, who won an event in the Championship League yesterday, kept his fine form going with a comfortable win over Joyce. At 56-0 down with a couple of minutes left, Joyce had a chance but missed a red on 16. 9.40pm: Hamilton almost didn't make it here tonight, as he got stopped by the police while driving up the M1 and his car is now in a compound. He explains: "My friend Richard was looking in the back of the car for some sugar for our tea so the police must have thought that was odd and pulled us over. They checked my car and it turns out it wasn't insured. I usually pay by direct debit, but for some reason the payments haven't gone through since November. Jimmy had a late chance to counter but missed an easy red on 14. 9.32pm: No one seems to want to beat the top break of 66...Hamilton becomes the third player to score that many then he runs out of position. 9.30pm: Crowd favourite Jimmy White in action now against Anthony Hamilton. Or rather it's Hamilton in action - he's on a break of 44 and looking to keep the Whirlwind in his chair. 9.22pm: MARTIN GOULD BEATS PETER EBDON 62-46 Ebdon was in control at 44-8 with five minutes to go, but played a weak safety and Gould capitalised with an excellent break of 54. Ebdon potted the last red with 30 seconds left, but missed the pink. 9.11pm: Martin Gould must be considered one of the favourites to win this, with his fluency in the balls and success in Power Snooker last November. He's up against Peter Ebdon now. 9.06pm: MARK ALLEN BEATS RORY MCLEOD 46-19 Rory won our Magic Moment of the Year award last year for his fluked black against Tony Drago here, but this time there was no repeat for the Wellingborough cueman. Allen built a handy lead, and his opponent's chance vanished when he missed a tough red, trailing by 27 points with a minute left. 9.04pm: Bit of a tortoise v hare clash now between Mark Allen and Rory McLeod. Allen looked in control but has missed a red to a centre pocket at 46-19. Just over a minute left, can Rory take advantage? 8.53pm: MARK SELBY BEATS JOE PERRY 104-1 Confident display from Selby. Perry's only chance came when he was 57-0 down, he planted a red to a centre pocket, then clipped in the black but was unlucky to see the cue ball hit a red which dropped into a baulk corner. Selby mopped up to book his second round slot. 8.45pm: World No 1 Mark Selby in action now against Joe Perry. Selby played brilliantly in the Championship League last week, can he keep it going here? 8.38pm: TOM FORD BEATS JIMMY ROBERTSON 50-44 Great stuff...the best match so far. Robertson fluked the last red and had a great chance to clear up, but missed the green to a centre pocket, leading 44-38. Ford potted green, brown and blue then played safe on the pink. With a few seconds left, Robertson lashed at the pink, hoping to force a blue-ball shoot-out, but it narrowly missed a middle pocket. 8.22pm: MATTHEW STEVENS BEATS ALI CARTER 60-22 The key moment was a bad miss by Carter on a short range black when he was leading 22-20. Stevens mopped up to win and his nightmare seven-hour journey to get here is all forgotten now. 8.16pm: Ali Carter 20-0 down to Matthew Stevens, but now has a scoring chance and there's still 5 minutes on the clock. 8.04pm: KEN DOHERTY BEATS MICHAEL HOLT 58-6 Master tactician Doherty dominated this one, building an early lead then restricting his opponent to difficult long pots. Holt finally potted a ball as the buzzer sounded and raised a few laughs with his celebration. 7.55pm: Two of the circuit's most popular characters on now, Ken Doherty and Michael Holt. Ken in with an early chance... 7.49pm: GERARD GREENE BEATS JAMIE BURNETT 36-27 Never mind 148, Burnett needed just 18 points to win when he came to the table at 19-36 with around 30 seconds left. But after potting a great red to a centre pocket, he was too slow around the table and ran out of time still trailing by 9 points. 7.45pm: Gerard Greene now in action against Jamie '148' Burnett. 7.36pm: JOHN HIGGINS BEATS JUDD TRUMP 62-16 Trump missed a red at 16-33 down and that proved decisive as Higgins added 14 points before playing safe to a chorus of boos. He then added another 15 points to make sure. 7.31pm: Trump had a good early chance but missed a black off its spot at 16-0. Higgins made 33 before missing a red to the middle. Up for grabs now! 7.25pm: Pick of the first round matches now, John Higgins v Judd Trump 7.22pm: Fans who bought VIP tickets are having a great time mingling with the players. Very relaxed atmosphere. 7.21pm: STUART BINGHAM BEATS LIU SONG 77-22 China's Liu is gone for a Song as Bingham equals the top break with a 66. 7.10pm: Liu Song and Stuart Bingham up next. 7.07pm: GRAEME DOTT BEATS ALAN MCMANUS 62-38 Former World Champion Dott was a bit lucky there, he missed the penultimate red when leading 46-38 with over a minute still to go, and left it over a pocket but snookered his opponent behind the yellow. McManus failed to escape and that was that. 7.04pm: Dotty was 33-5 down but he's in the balls now with a great chance to win. Two minutes left and he's now 39-33 up. 6.59pm: There's £2,000 up for grabs for the highest break here. Williams has set the early target with his 66. Last year there were only four centuries. 6.56pm: Two more Glaswegians take to the baize now - Graeme Dott v Alan McManus. 6.50pm: STEPHEN MAGUIRE BEATS ANTHONY MCGILL 43-20 In the all-Glasgow battle, Maguire looked in trouble at 20-0 down, but hit back to win with a well-constructed break of 43. 6.33pm: MARK WILLIAMS BEATS STEVE DAVIS 72-0 Davis surely won't be the only player to go home without scoring a point. Nice stuff from Williams in the battle of the former World Champions as he cruises into the second round with a break of 66. 6.25pm: It's Mark Williams v Steve Davis now and that will be followed by Stephen Maguire v Anthony McGill. The Ali Carter v Matthew Stevens match has been put back due to delays on the motorways today. 6.20pm: So Milkins is the first player into the hat for the random draw for the last 32, which will take place after the first round has finished. 6.19pm: ROB MILKINS BEATS NIGEL BOND 30-15. The defending champion drops out with the tournament just ten minutes old. Milkins got 23 points on the board early on, and was able to nurse his lead. Bond had a couple of chances to get back into it but missed two simple pots. 6.15pm: Cagey stuff so far, Milkins leading 23-6 with four minutes left. One thing we didn't get last year was a sudden death blue-ball shoot-out...perhaps we'll see one this time. 6.05pm: Great reception for the first two players, Nigel Bond and Rob Milkins, and we're underway with a repeat of last year's final. 5.55pm: Theglamorous walk-on girls are the same two as last year: Ella Green (last year's Miss Blackpool) and Jade Slusarczyk (Miss Poulton). The current Miss Blackpool, Hollie Robinson, will be here tomorrow. 5.20pm: Just 40 minutes to go until the action starts. If there's half as much drama as last year then we're in for an exciting three days in Blackpool. Steve Davis, Mark Williams, Jimmy White and defending champion Nigel Bond are among the players trying shirts on and getting ready for action. The shirts are black this year, rather than last year's red or yellow.
